Listings FAQ
What does “Verified” mean?
We check the business against the Companies House register (and relevant trade bodies) before publishing. The badge confirms the firm exists and is who it says it is — it is not an endorsement or a ranking.
Does paying change editorial content?
No. Guides and advice pages are independent of listings. Paid cards appear only in a clearly labelled “Featured listings” section, marked as advertising.
How does billing work?
Monthly by card (or annual at 10 months’ price). Cancel any time before your next billing date; your listing stays live until the end of the paid period.
Can we choose which page we appear on?
Yes — subject to availability. Each page carries a maximum of three featured cards. When a page is full, we offer the nearest alternative.
What is not allowed?
No review claims or ratings, no “best builder” style ranking claims, no fake scarcity. Listings must comply with UK advertising rules; we check every blurb before it goes live.
How do enquiries reach us?
Through the “Enquire via this site” button on your card. Messages are relayed to your email — your address is never published on the page.
How do we cancel?
Email us from your registered address (or use the cancel link in any billing email). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
